question : why all the fuss about weight loss
Answer
In recent times obesity and overweight have been ranked as the leading cause of many of lifestyle diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol) . people in their late 20s and 30s are now susceptible to these lifestyle diseases which were earlier considered to affect people above the age of 50years .The alarming fact is that majority of people do not know their weight status (whether obese or overweight), they reach this sad realization only when the complications of obesity begin to set in.
Ever wondered what life will be like in the next 5 years?
1. The limitations your current lifestyle may pose on your weight status?
2. The possible health complications that may arise as a result of your weight?
3. The strain it may put on your marriage/sex life?
4. The possible reduction in your energy levels and productivity?
5. The possible joint pains it may pose during old age?
These and many more questions should be a source of motivation in your quest to lose weight.
Our weight loss goals come in various forms : losing that tummy pouch/pot belly, loosing the baby fat post delivery, dropping down a few dress sizes, loosing those flabby arms or getting that hourglass figure.
