CAN I INCLUDE EGGS IN MY MEALS?


QuestionI am trying to eat clean and healthy, can i include eggs in my meals ??

Answer Yes you can eat eggs!  Eggs are not only nutrient dense but also excellent sources of protein but unfortunately eggs have been vilified over the past years. It has been tagged with the title of    "cholesterol increasing ingredient"
 
Yes the yolk of an egg contains cholesterol but Research shows eating eggs has an insignificant effect on blood cholesterol levels. 

The heart foundation recommends an intake of 6 eggs per week as part of a healthy, balanced diet.  Moderation is key! 
Below are 5 interesting ways of including eggs in your meals.

1. Hard boiled eggs

2. Scrambled eggs.

 3. Tomato and Onion omelet (Ghanaian omelet).



4. High fiber omelet (mixed vegetables and mushrooms).



5. Egg salad.
